Reorganized the Engineering organization's homepage as well as the Wiki homepage by conducting user tests before and after redesign. Managed update scripts as cron jobs, used versioning tool to manage changes, and answered all team requests monthly.

Books Processing Engineer
Created PHP scripts for loading digital books into the Internet Archive website. Code available at
Sourceforge. These include an upload script (for use with files over 4GB) and
a script that reads in metadata from libraries and inserts the record into a digital book.
Supported the book scanning facilities by using remote administration tools for troubleshooting proprietary book scanning and processing code.
Built and maintained Windows-based machines for book scanning operations. Traveled to Canada to start the scanning facility by installing
the hardware and software and assisting in training.

Transferred to Web operations department to work on zonelabs.com
site. Published new data to site on UNIX servers running Weblogic
and Apache and on one IIS server. Created new customer-facing
scripts in Perl and JavaScript and wrote JSP content. In
charge of all Web content in the "check for update" process (ZoneAlarm
clients get automatic notifications when a new version is available).
Writing Tools Developer (January 2001-May
2002)
Wrote an XML parser in VBScript to be able to
read XML articles outside of the Weblogic server environment.
Wrote various Perl scripts to create test links and statistics
for QA and documentation teams. Released new versions of the
knowledgebase, this involved checking out from versioning tool
and compiling the project files (using Jbuilder), performing
QA according to release guidelines, deploying to the Solaris/Weblogic
test server, and delivering results to team members.
